Once we receive your CV/resume, our HR team and the hiring manager will assess its contents against the job description.
If your skills and experience represent a good match with the requirements of the role, you will be advanced in the selection process. Depending on the nature and seniority of the vacancy, the selection methods may vary. It will normally include an interview in all cases. The interview process is one of our best opportunities to get to know the potential of a candidate, and for the candidate to get to know our people and our business. You should have a good sense of what value you think you may bring to our business and be prepared to offer examples of your past achievements or successes.
You may be invited to a telephone/Skype interview before meeting with us in person. This is where we need to understand a little more about your suitability for the role before asking you to make the time commitment for a full interview.
Sometimes, we use questionnaires and tests to assess a candidate’s suitability and capability in specific areas such as numeracy, personality profile, etc. These tests, if applied, are done through a secure online facility and are treated in confidence, as is the rest of the application process.
Western Global is committed to diversity and encourages applications from anyone who considers themselves suitable for the role being advertised, regardless of age, gender reassignment, pregnancy/maternity, marital status, race, religion, sexual orientation, gender or disability. If you have any limitations with regards to mobility, sight, hearing or any other challenge, we will make every reasonable adjustment within our power to enable you to take part in the process.
